Courses Run by the College : B.A. and B. Com.
Eligibility
For Admission :
A) All the admission will be done on merit basis and as per roster.
B) A student, who has passed 10+2 Examination (Academic Stream) conducted by the H.P.Board of School Education or an examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the various bodies of the H.P. University, can come to seek admission.
C) Provided that the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination with arts/humanities stream shall be given preference in admission to B. A. Programme.
Note : At the time of Admission each student will choose a subject as Discipline specific Core, Elective One and another as Elective-II (Discipline specific Core ). English Compulsory will be for all students irrespective of their discipline. Apart from that all students will study one Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course i.e. English/MIL, Communication, Environmental Science in the First year.
For the Degree :
A) The candidate shall have to undergo the prescribed courses of study in a college affiliated to the H.P. University for a period not less than three academic years (and not more than five academic years), passed the examinations prescribed and fulfilled such conditions as have been prescribed therefore.
B) For the degree of B.A. and B. Com., all the students will have to accumulate a minimum of 132 successful credit hours of course work over a minimum of three and a maximum of five years from the date of admission.
C) Provided that not more than three attempts will be allowed to pass a course.
Duration (Time Frame)
The UG (TDC) program is for a minimum period of three years and a maximum of five years from the date of admission of the candidate.
